I messed around a bit with Windows Server 2003 just to see what Microsoft's latest OS had to offer.

However, the new community centric design is going to be heavily based on Open Source / GNU Licensed software. I don't see anything but Linux being considered in the future.

We're messing around a bit with Apache's Forrest and a tad bit of Slashcode. Whatever solution we finally do end up with is still going to take a lot of custimization to suit our needs.

We'll start off with the bare minimum and take baby steps.. letting our readers help pave the way for the components that we integrate.
