"ONE OF THE more successful computer component companies to sell its products through so-called "affiliate" advertising on the Web is to extend its reach, according to sources close to the firm.
Crucial, which is a subsidiary of giant US firm Micron, sells memory modules through its affiliate programme. Many of its ads can be found on hardware sites. A small proportion of commission is paid to sites which carry its banners when modules are sold through them.

But the INQUIRER has learned that Crucial is actively investigating extending its reach on direct sales by selling video cards under the same brand too."
