| Steelpad 4s Professional Gamer Mousepad Review |
Professional Gamers and non-Professionals alike will enjoy the Steelpad 4s. If you are in the market for a metal mousepad then look no further than the Steelpad 4s. Since it is geared towards Pros is price tag may be out of the reach for some. I highly recommend testing driving one out to see if it is right for you since picking a mousepad for profesional gaming is a lot like picking your mouse. It takes a lot of time to get used to it, and even more time to perfect your play while using it in competition.

The
ATC-210c AX2 exudes class. CoolerMaster has delivered
an outstanding case that is as well-built as it is
stunning.
There are, however, a few annoyances with this
case which do count against its final rating. Even
with those minor flaws this case still borders on
perfection (and for $200 USD it better).
Overall, I highly recommended this case to anyone
who is looking for more than a generic chassis.
It definitely beats having a standard beige case
(or a black case for that matter). |

The
accuracy and precision of your computer mouse is drastically
affected by many factors. Arguably the most important
of these factors is the mousing surface. The recent
shift towards laser devices has de-emphasized the
importance of the mousing surface since the mouses
work on almost any surface. The proper mousing surface
can make quite a difference, however. If you extensively
use the computer, do graphic / design editing, or
play games where accuracy and precision are vital,
then you already know the importance of using a good
mouse pad. Today we look at the Icemat mouse pad and
see how well it performs. |

A
computer case reflects both the personality of the
person who owns it and the computer that is inside.
When it comes to your computer, quality should always
have priority over price. Many consumers are willing
to sacrifice quality to save money. Fortunately for
us Antec's Performance series offers great quality
at a very reasonable price. I have been using this
case for the past year and am going to tell you why
this case is one of the best, if not THE BEST case
in the world. |
Microsoft
is looking to extend its popular line of lazer mouses
into the wireless realm with the Wireless IntelliMouse
Explorer. The Wireless IntelliMouse borrows from both
of its predecessors, the IntelliMouse Explorer v 1.0
and the IntelliMouse Explorer v 3.0.
Is the Wireless version simply a scheme for Microsoft
to make more money or is it the pinnacle of wireless
technology? Read on to find out.

Here's
the problem I had. I have this nice Antec SX-1040B
Case which is a smoke black and I have beige drives.
Antec is on the ball with this one since the case
includes a drive cover which completely hides the
drives. For most people that would be fine, but for
me a beige drive in a black case is simply trashy
whether or not there is a cover to hide it. |

Microsoft
has finally released a new addition to its aging line
of keyboards; the Microsoft Office Keyboard. While
this keyboard doesn't have the ergonomic key placement
like its predecessor, (the MS Natural Pro/Elite Keyboard)
it has been engineered with comfort and ergonomics
in mind. It is important to keep in mind that this
keyboard is for Microsoft Office use. If we were to
review this keyboard thinking in a different mindset
(i.e. Gaming, Graphic Design, Average Windows User,
etc.) the keyboard wouldn't fare as well. This is
a little bit odd since most keyboards are designed
to be all-purpose. Read on to find out how the keyboards
design both aids and impedes functionality. |

Generally,
there is a great deal of misconception regarding the
Razer Boomslang 1000 and the Razer Boomslang 2000.
The product name would imply that the 2000 model offers
better performance than the 1000 which costs considerably
less and has some hardware modifications.
The main difference, however, between the two
pointing devices is that they accomodate different
styles of gaming. The Boomslang 1000's lower sensitivity
offers superb accuracy and allows precise tracking
of moving targets. The Boomslang 2000 on the other
hand is geared towards players with a "fast-twitch"
style of play. The ultra high settings of the 2000
allow unparalleled speed in view and movement. It's
almost absurd to think that these devices can make
such a difference in gaming performance. After 4
months of using both devices I am confident in saying
that each device really does offer its own unique
gaming perspective.
Here's how it looks from the Boomslang 2000's point
of view.

Mushkin
specializes in the distribution of the highest performing
in the world. This performance often comes at a steeper
price. To put this review in context we should remember
that this was considered the highest performing chips
before the dawn of DDR333 (PC2700). We're going to
run this through the gauntlet and see if we can clock
to DDR 333. |

Rounded
cables may help improve the airfllow in your case
and are definitely more stylish than standard cables.
You will read many reports on the Internet that claim
that these cables are "aerodynamic" or that
they will improve cooling by several degrees; you
should ignore those. If you like the look of pre-made
rounded cables then you should definitely should get
some. Rounded cables will look great in any windowed
case. |

It's
quite a simple idea really. A company, tired of the
poor performance of the mouse peripheral, decides
that it is going to forge ahead and create a product
which to this day has no equal. And so the Razer Boomslang
was born. The Razer Boomslang was first introduced
in 1999 and was targeted mostly at gamers. It was
quickly embraced by the gaming community and became
the de facto standard. Boomslang's are currently used
by the top professional gamers worldwide and after
two years nothing has even come close to rivaling
its dominance. |
