Build
29 Released -- Build 28 soon to expire (posted
10/04/01) Build 29 is now available.
Unfortunately, development has been impossible recently, and
this build is functionally identical to build 28. Build 28,
however, is set to expire in early October; this new build has
no expiration date.
To upgrade, click the Upgrade link
on the main Coranto page when logged in as an
Administrator-level user.
Addons
& Upgrades (posted
08/11/01) Two new addons, both ports of
NewsPro addons, are now available: NewFiles and RSS
File.
As well, NewsPro upgrade instructions (for
version 3.8) are now available on the download page.
Final
Version Cost (posted
07/28/01) Many people have asked whether the
final version of Coranto will be free -- the time-limit code
on the beta seems to be scaring people. Be happy: the final
version, which will have all the features (and all the license
conditions) of the beta, will be free of charge. There are
plans to sell licenses for support and such, but the full
version will continue to be available for free.
Testing
Forum Integration (posted
07/27/01)
This is an early test of a forum integration addon for Coranto
-- please stand by. (I should say right now that this addon
is not likely to be available for a while.)

Change
Date & HTML Builder (posted
07/27/01) Two more newspro-era addons, Change
Date and HTML Builder, are now available for Coranto. They are
on the download page.
CSS
Editor Addon & Themes (posted
07/19/01) A simple new addon, CSS Editor, has
been released. It lets you edit the CSS stylesheet code
Coranto uses for script pages. That is, it lets you change the
colours and font styles Coranto uses.
This release also comes with a request: please download it
and try your hand at changing the CSS code. If you come up
with a style you like, please post the CSS code to this forum
thread. If enough good styles get posted to this thread, a
future version of the addon will include them as predefined
colour themes.
New
Addons (posted
07/16/01) Two simple new addons are now
available on the download page: Glossary and News Preview.
The Glossary addon is an exact copy of NewsPro's
Glossary feature. The Preview addon, on the other hand, is not
quite like the old addon: the preview page is customized via a
template, preview.tmpl, and the preview pops up in a new
window.
