pixel Faulty Keyboards in Dell Latitude D800 / Dell Inspiron 8500 Laptops
I was looking through an article at theInquirer and noticed a piece about faulty keyboards in the Dell Inspiron 8500 laptop. I was curious enough to read the thread and found out that my laptop (the Latitude D800) was also succeptible to this problem along with the Inspiron 8500.

The problem isn't entirely noticeable or troublesome on my D800 but it definitely exists. The best way to explain it is that the right half of the keyboard is very "springy" while the left is pretty firm. Therefore, when you type on on the right half of the keyboard not only does the key you are pressing move downward, but also all of the keys in the surrounding area.

Dell has supposedly acknowledged the problem but the only "Official Statement" they have made thus far is in their forums:
